In 11 individual plates, "La Grand-Messe" presents players and spectators from the final of Euro 2016 between France and Portugal. The subjects are caught in ecstatic poses, animated by a mystic force which seems to emanate from the game. These images are captioned by extracts from the words of sports commentators, extracts which are based upon a biblical vocabulary, mixing sport and religion.
