Run by Lia Pradal, Païen is a publishing house specialising in photography books. Since 2015, Païen has been committed to creating a dialogue between the past and the present by breathing new life and substance into archives and iconographic collections. Our projects reactivate forgotten stories and silenced voices, questioning our relationship with nature, landscapes and heritage. Païen also offers publishing workshops, editorial support and graphic design services.

Our books are available in photography bookshops in France, and can be ordered on our website or from any bookshop.
